Holiday

We were really lucky to take my father on holiday to Jamaica April/May 2012. We stayed at the Jamaica Grande in Ochi Rios, for two weeks. This was only made possible, by a carer who volunteered her services coming with us. She assisted my dad with his washing and personal care issues. And between us we monitored his diabetic blood readings and gave him his insulin injections.
The trip was a true success, it was amazing, to see him on his home soil. It did him the world of good and it was lovely for him to see his family members and visit where he grew up.
